It's time to walk on
Yes Billy, it has been such a journey,
From chaos to conservative,
From the rage to the regret.
I see you now, in the distant,
Younger than I am now,
Smiling, laughing, yet lacking the depth
Of one who has had to challenge everything,
Of one who has learned how not to run.
I can now see me,
A little tentative, a little curious,
Not entirely sure,
But still committed to a journey of emergence.
Dearest Billy, we are walking towards divergence,
For I think I see me walking out of the shadows
Of hurt and doubt.
It's not yet goodbye,
But, my dearest traveling companion,
I think it may be time for you to slowly make your goodbyes.

Just wanted you to know your goodbyes aren't being spoken to an empty page.
:)
Thanks Erin, I appreciate you stopping by.
parting is such sweet sorrow... billy so bravely removed his skin, revealing the treasure of true self within. Look back with pride, look forward with excitement!
